A happy Independence Day to all!  Amid the celebration and hoopla, take 20 minutes or so for somber reflection and read exactly it cost those brave men who signed our Declaration of Independence.  It isn't unfamiliar history (or at least shouldn't be), but it's worth the time it takes to read it.  These men deserve our undying admiration, respect, and gratitude.

In case any of you Bon Jovi fans out there (Liz! ) missed his "Unplugged" appearance on MTV a few nights ago, you should check it out.

It's certainly worth hearing Livin' On a Prayer accompanied by strings (especially that driving guitar thing in the introduction--all strings baby! ), You Give Love a Bad Name coupled with Hit the Road Jack (and pretty much sung in the same style ), and It's My Life sung as a slow/soft rock ballad...  Who Says You Can't Go Home is the only song that sounds remotely like itself, lol.  Anyways, go on over and check it out!
